The Oleson Family From the Little House on the Prairie TV Show

The Oleson family was introduced in the first season of Little House on the Prairie. Harriet and Nels owned the Oleson's Mercantile. Nels was the only nice character in the Oleson family. Harriet and her daughter, Nellie thought they were better than everyone in the town. They were both unpopular with the town and the Ingalls. Willie spent a lot of time in the corner of the classroom for misbehavior, but eventually grew out of that phase. Nellie and Laura were enemies from the beginning of the series. Nellie gets married to Percival and becomes a better person. After Nellie leaves town, Harriet adopts Nancy (in season 8) who was as spoiled as Nellie.
